Wireless HDMI Extender sends cable-free HD data

Gefen on Wednesday announced its Wireless HDMI Extender, a device that provides users with cable-free HD extension for up to 30 feet within a line-of-sight. The Wireless HDMI Extender is designed for ceiling mounted displays, outside applications, and rooms where users want to avoid putting in extension cables. The add-on provides users with two HDMI inputs and one component HD video input that can be shared using UWB wireless that allows up to three HD signals to be sent to one location, including with 5.1 Dolby surround.
